Saspearian will enter into a regency period beginning on July 12 due to Emperor Anthony I having jaw surgery, as announced by Anthony I last week. The surgery occurs a few days after the Emperor’s 20th Birthday on July 10.
Anthony I’s surgery will be for jaw realignment as planned and advised by his doctors due to his cleft lip and palate. The regency period will last for the duration of the recovery. Anthony I is expected to be fully recovered within 6 weeks but may be fully recovered sooner, at a minimum of 4 weeks. Anthony I appointed Asher Young to serve as the Regent and provided a statement concerning the regency last week.
“I will be having a jaw realignment surgery on July 12, as planned and advised by my doctors due to my cleft lip and palate. The recovery time is expected to be about 6 weeks. I will be unable to serve in my full powers as Emperor during this time, and Saspearian will be under regency. I have appointed Asher Young as the regent. I will still be the leader of Saspearian, but with limited powers. I will also still be representing Saspearian as a delegate in the GUM, MA, and CF.”

Anthony I will remain as the Emperor of Saspearian but with limited powers. Anthony I will also continue to serve as the representative of Saspearian to the Grand Unified Micronational, Micronational Assembly, and Cupertino Forum.
